Today will be my last day working for cimt BV…
With pleasure I have worked almost 7 years for cimt, but I decided to accept an offer that I have received. 3rd of April I will start as a Data Analyst at Enexis, a Dutch electricity and gas network operator, in ‘s Hertogenbosch. The decision was hard, because I still like the work I do for cimt, I like the people and I liked the “gemütlichkeit”. But I’m going to take the leap and try something else. It’s an other role, no consultancy anymore, a fixed location closer to my home. I think it will fit better to my personality and it will be easier to combine with having small children.
Last years I worked as a data management consultant on projects at CCV, De Volksbank, Rabobank, VDL and Brink’s. I mainly built data integrations with Talend. They were all interesting projects. I have learnt a lot. I started at cimt in May 2016, with only 8 employees in the Gruyter Fabriek, I saw the company grow, we now have around 20 employees at Sparrendaal in Vught. I have had nice Fridays at the office, nice trips to our colleagues in Cologne, nice events and BBQs. I found one group photo from Sep 2019, see attached. I have nice memories of that time. Sadly I don’t have a more recent group photo.
I want to thank everyone that I met for the collaboration. It was a pleasure to work with you! I wish you all the best!
Tonight I will go to Ruud’s wedding celebration and will see a couple of you there. Later I will pick a Friday afternoon to come back to have a proper saying goodbye moment at the office in Vught.
